sold another bird set today and three sets yesterday!  another 170 bucks for sewing machines!  thanks sandy, lynette, kristine and neil! this brings the total to 670...divide that by 150 and you find out how many sewing machines that is...

More information on the Kitale Tailoring School

Here are some pictures from the Kitale Sewing School...This is where your money is going when you buy a wool bird from me.  90% of the profits from the birds are going to purchase sewing machines for the graduates of this school.  Each sewing machine costs 150.00 and I am proud to say that I have raised 561.00! 

Comfort Dolls

she has been knitting these for a couple of months...they will be sent as packing materials for medical supplies heading to Africa, and given to the kids there...

my favorite so far i think...haley took this pic. of herself reflected in a window when she was 10 or 11...so i  reprinted it and stole it for my own purposes...appropriation...it's ok....
